No way on a quad-core, nor would it even be worth it for this system.
You may be able to use a faster Core 2 depending on what you have now, but even that's not going to produce much of a boost.
The single best upgrade would be to replace the hard drive with a solid state drive. Any CPU upgrade you could use from a technical standpoint just won't produce much of a boost overall.
