Dell XPS L401X - Need Help

Hey there, I have a Dell XPS L401X (Late 2010) laptop which I brought from Dell. My question is that, I want to buy a better GPU from Nvidia and I have an Nvidia GeForce 245M Which Only has 1 GB VRAM and I literally can't play cool games with it.. so, is it possible to do so? to replace the GPU with another one? And I even want to put up another RAM chip, so, I have a 4 GB ddr3(or something) RAM, Should I only ttake 4 GB ddr3(again) RAM chip or is it fine like 2 GB DD-whatever ram?

Hopefully I get an answer soon, Thank you in Advance!

ejn63 is correct, you cannot upgrade the GPU. If you want to upgrade RAM, it must be DDR3. You have 4GB now, which could either be a 2x2GB config or a 1X4GB config. Your laptop supports up to 8GB of RAM. You can buy more RAM from Dell or Newegg.

The GPU is part of the mainboard - it cannot be removed, nor can it be upgraded.
