Hello,
I have a Dell Latitude E6520 laptop and I want to boot from an external hdd via eSATA/USBp. It is possible?

Thank for your answer, but I need to know for sure, before I invest in HDD and SATA 2 to eSATAp cable.
So if some has done it I will appreciated.

You can also buy a HDD media bay, but that is really not so desirable.
I talked to a Dell representative, which told me this is not a supported option
You can boot from a USB disk or a USB memory key, but not an eSATAp disk.
You might want to try an eSATAp Expresscard .
Kind of stupid, not to support such an option. I am really disappointed...
