Dell latitude E6440 Processor upgrade
Hi, I recently bought a used Dell latitude E6440 with a Core I5 4300M and i would like to put a Core I7 4910MQ in it and would it work? and if it does can the system handle it? Or would i be better off putting a I7 4610m in it.

The i7-4610m was shipped in this model so it'll work . The quad core CPUs (4910mq) likely won't - and even if they allow the system to boot, the 10W greater power draw may net you a very unstable system, as it's not designed for a 47W CPU. The MQ CPUs are generally shipped in large, 15 and 17" gaming system - not slim, lightweight systems like your Latitude.

I have an I7-4910 MQ processor, 16gb ram, 256gb msata, 1TB hd and dGPU in my E6440 and it works fine with AutoCad.
