Disable pointing device?
I am some what handicapped and use a mouse generally but keep hitting the pointing device which puts the cursor somewhere else on the page. How can I disable the central pointing device on the Inspiron 5100?

If not, then try looking in the BIOS. Hit F12 on bootup when you see the Dell logo come up. Then scroll through the pages in the BIOS and search for an option to disable it.

Was unable to locate the pointing device in the control panel => mouse. Tried to find pointing device in Bios but was unable to find it there. Can anyone tell me where I might locate it in the Bios? By what name is it listed?
