Display problem with Dell Inspiron N5110
Hi! Im new!
This problem has become very very very annoying.
My laptop changes the resolution to a smaller one (from 1366x768 to 800x600 approximately ) 3 seconds and then returns to the normal one ( 1366x768 ) and making a sound like theres a usb connecting and desconnecting, the problem is that I don know when,it can change it every 10 minutes, every half hour , anytime at every moment, the weird thing is that it can pass days not changing it but then suddenly it starts, it can do it just one time or many times, heres a video showing it :
It can be seen well from 0:20
My laptop has two display adapters (Intel 3000 graphics and a Nvidia Gt525m ) could almost say that the problem is the Intel Graphics because when I disable it stops happening.
I have tried the following:
-Uninstalling both display adapters (Intel and Nvidia) and installing them again
- Install the latest driver for Intel Graphics 3000
- Uninstall the driver from the section of device manager - display adapters and installing it automatically when the laptop restars , after it gets intstalled (it installs a driver something like " standrad vga adapter" ) , then, i install the intel driver again, but the problem persists .
-System restore doesnt work, i dont have a restore point.
I used the drivers from dell official websites intel, nvidia, i used too my drivers dvd disc.
I thought maybe some program , could make the problem, but i dont see which program could be, here are my installed programs:

Another thing , i formatted my laptop about 1 month ago and a half, after formating, this started happening after, the rare thing it started happening all of a sudden.
This has become very annoying, when im trying to play mostly.
Maybe a hardware problem?
I would not like formatting it. I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.
Dell Inspiron N5110
Windows 7 64bits
Intel Core i7 2670 QM 2.20GHz 6gb Ram
PD Sorry for my bad english.

Correct. Before you do that, uninstall the nVidia driver from Programs and Features in control panel, restart computer, AND THEN from Device Manger expand the Display Adapter drop-down, right click on the adapter listed and select uninstall. When the warning pops up about removing it, allow the uninstall. Then restart your computer again (it will be required and prompted for) When windows starts it will install the generic VGA driver and then navigate to the Dell support site and download your nVidia driver for your model. If this information helps, please verify the solution and if you need further assistance don't hesitate to contact:

The graphics are not switchable on the N5110. The reason there is Intel HD 3000 drivers available at the Dell website for that model is due to Dell offering multiple configurations of that Model...some of which do not come with nVidia display adapters.
You should uninstall the HD3000 display adapter, allow windows to "discover and install" the generic VGA display adapter and then go back for a visit to the Dell support/drivers and downloads page and ONLY install the nVidia driver for your model.
If this reply was helpful please remember to hit the YES button to verify this solution so other users can easily find it as an answer. If you need further assistance don't hesitate to contact:
