Dual Monitor Stretch Question

Recently, I hooked my desktop's monitor up to the VGA out on my E1505. The dual monitor setup works fine for the extend desktop option where the second monitor acts as additional screen space for the laptop. However, the only ATI driver I can get for my E1505 is one that doesn't support Stretch dual monitor support. Stretch mode is where the screen is basically divided equally between the two monitors (even the taskbar stretches across the two monitors where it doesn't with extend mode).

My question is is there a way to install new ATI drivers that support stretch mode or is there a way to do it with the default Dell provided drivers?
