E6230 and two 4K monitors.
Does a Latitude E6230 support two 4K monitors at its highest resolution with a Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver? I can get one monitor to its highest but not the other one. The second monitor only goes 2056 x 1600.

It will depend on the connection and on your sense of humor. Even if you get it to work, driving two 4K monitors from an Intel 4000 GPU will be an exercise in patience -- that GPU just won't do the job in anything like a reasonable fashion.

Yes, the HD 4000 in the Dell E6230 supports driving two 4K monitors.
Please note there are limitations:
- 4K seems to require use of DisplayPort (at least I have not been able to get HDMI to output anything greater than 1080p)
- Since the E6230 lacks onboard DisplayPort you must use an E-Port replicator
- Output resolution will be limited to 3840x2160@30Hz for each display
- Only two displays are supported simultaneously, so the internal LCD on the laptop cannot be used when two 4K displays are connected via the E-Port replicator
This setup has been tested and works for me in Linux (kernel version 4.13). For Windows, the Intel driver has a known limitation that prevents custom resolutions from working. Intel has stated that since the 3rd Gen CPU is EOL, they will not backport their fix:

As ejn63 says, using 4K displays with the HD 4000 is not fun. The low refresh rate makes everything choppy, and the CPU fan runs constantly at a high RPM, I presume due to a high load on the GPU, since the CPU can be idle and the fan is still screaming.
