E6430 Control Vault w/ Fingerprint Swipe Sensor Windows 10 Driver not working

Hi,

I just upgraded from Win7 to WinX x64 and did not manage to get the Broadcom USF ingerprint reader working.

Installed all the newest available WinX drivers from the DELL website. I get an exclamation mark (error: Code 10) for Control Vault w/ Fingerprint Swipe Sensor under Biometric.

Anyone out there who managed to get the fingerprint reader working?

Additional info: First i tried upgrading from Win7 where hardware manager would not show any errors but Windows would not recognize any swipes. Other severe problems forced me to do a clean install - so my system is totally fresh, only original DELL drivers installed.
