Error Code OFOO

Question

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini Netbook with the following four error messages: Error Code OFOO:075D Msg:Disk-DST self test read error Error Code OFOO:1344 Msg:Disk-Block 6437330  can't read, replace disk Error Code OFOO:1A44 Msg:Disk-Block 6437330 can't read, replace disk Error Code OFOO:0244 Msg:Disk-Block 6437330 can't read, replace disk   This was all after it shutdown improperly and would not reboot.  I tried all the restart options:safemode, last known good config.,etc.  I recently purchased a new computer, so it's not an urgent matter, but I would like to get something out of the netbook.  Is there anyway to fix it on my own(free) and resell it so that I can at least get something out of it, or is all lost.   Thank you for your time

The cost of a drive is low ($50 if it takes a conventional drive - closer to $100 if it's solid state).  You'll have to decide based on that (or post the model if you want something more definitive).

You need to replace the hard drive (or solid state drive, whichever you've got).

I recently purchased a new computer, so I don't really need the netbook for myself anymore.  I just want to fix it to sell it and still get some money out of it.  Do you think that's realistic?
