Error OFOO:1344 Msg Disk Block - Can't read replace disk

Question

I have an Inspiron 1545 and it's less than 2 yrs old but of course out of it's 1 yr warranty and all of a sudden it has stopped working.  When I boot it up in normal mode it just hangs but if I boot it up in safe mode it will work.  I ran the disk check and it comes up with Error OFOO:1344 Msg Disk Block - Can't read replace disk on a bunch of blocks.  Wondering what to do to fix this, any suggestions?

You need to replace the hard drive with a new one - any 2.5' 9.5 mm or slimmer SATA notebook drive will work.
