you running Windows 7?

• if so right click the desktop and pick Personalize
• look down in the bottom right corner under 'see also' and click Display
• at the top left area pick Adjust Resolution
• in the box you'll see a graphical layout of your dual monitors. Click and hold the #2 monitor on the right and drag it over to the left of the #1 monitor.
• then apply the change

That did work..

Thanks for that (searching for old posts on the subject).  I have tried everything through the "normal" methods to swap primary/secondary screen settings.  The Intel graphics properties doesn't recognise that there are multiple displays, neither does the NVIDIA control panel.  Cheers
