Failure to boot from bootable USB flash drive.
Since I upgraded the BIOS on my Latitude E6230 to the latest A14 version, I am unable to boot from USB flash drive. In the BIOS setup I disabled Secure Boot, selected Legacy Boot and set boot priorities to Internal Hard Drive as first and then USB drive as second. After making these changes in BIOS my computer failed to boot from the internal hard drive prompting, "Invalid Partition Table" So I reversed the changes after which my computer booted normally.
Could any one help me sort out this problem?
Thanks,

Good day !
Updating the system BIOS helps to fix the issue where in the BIOS could have got corrupted.Based on the information you have provided I understand that the system failed to boot from the primary boot device ( being the hard drive ) . Now I would ask you to confirm if you have tried to initiate on-board diagnostics on the system this performs a through check on system's hardware and accordingly comes up with an error code for the faulty component accordingly .
To initiate diagnostics restart the system ,keep tapping the F12 key to go to one time boot menu from there select onboard diagnostics . If you have performed the diagnostics or any other troubleshooting steps do confirm the same .
Awaiting your response .
Have a good day ahead !

Thanks for your response.
I did run the Diagnostics through one time boot menu and it passed all the tests. I carried out this test without any other drive connected to it.
Previously when the system failed to boot to "one time boot menu" I had a bootable USB and a blank uninitialized SATA HDD (connected through USB adapter) connected to the System for cloning. That time System got stuck at Logo screen with yellow "Preparing one time boot menu".
Thanks,

Hi ,
It could be possible that the primary boot device set was the hard drive which was blank and you were trying to boot from a USB .
Another possibility could be that the image on the USB has got corrupt .
I hope this helps ,but if there are any queries do reply to this post .
Regards,
