Finger Print Reader not working Vostro 3550

hi, Problem:1 I have recently purchased Vostro 3550 with Finger Print reader. After i updating all drivers and checked in dell diagnostic also. Nothing happen to no response for my reader. I purchased 07-05-02012.It haven't worked while i purchased itself and i updated all drivers Problem :2 ST MICRO SCREEN DETECTION SENSOR ISN'T COMPATIBLE WITH THIS VERSION OF WINDOWS - ? Wat i need to do for this??????????? I have checked through installing Free fall data protection. it shows nothing. .Please help me to solve this problem.

Welcome to the Community. Try installing the driver from the manufacturers website.

You will also need the Finger print software:

If the fingerprint reader software does NOT work from Royan's link,

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Security, you'll find the fingerprint software.

You can also try Authentec AES2810 (Fingerprint Reader W7 64-bit) This is DigitalPersona Fingerprint Reader.

Hello, I have a Dell Vostro 3550 and I had to reinstall operative system, and I dont know where can I download Acrobat X Standard and all software not included in disks, I tryed in your site but it tryes to install a program but never works.
