Hi,
As per the test results and the bluescreen there are few bad sectors which are corrupted and unreadable. If your system is working fine at the moment, but HD is on its way to fail. So would suggest to backup the data to be on safeside.
Is the machine under warranty??
What was the reason to run the diagnostics?? Do you observe any slow performance or system freezing issues ??

No its a late 2011 model Dell Inspiron N5050.
I have just now backed up using the Windows Backup and restore on an External hard disk.As this was my first backup dunno whether the backup is complete or something else.
The reason for running the Diagnostics was that previously there were issues with the Hard drive which appeared since 2013 by the epsa diagnostics and also the Optical drive wasn't getting displayed in My computer
Later when I contacted the Dell out of warranty they told my service tag was not of India so initiated the Dell ownership transfer for this and this was completed by 2014.
Also some one had messed with my Laptop and due to his misuse the Cooling vents have a dent, the cooling is not efficient anymore gets heated upto 82C at times.

Hi,
We are awaiting your response.
With regards to the optical drive, please check in BIOS if its detected and try deleting filters from registry for the drive.
Let us know if you wish to know the steps to delete filters??
Have you tried contacting Dell India Tech support.
Regards.

I had taken the backup on an External Hard disk and later gave the System for service at the Dell Service Center. There they did their own Diagnostics and say that I have several damaged parts
Now when I sum up this parts costs it resulted to a Brand New Laptop.Even If Ignored the hefty sum the parts will take a Minimum of 3 weeks time, External scratches will be there even after paying.
So instead of wasting this X amount of INR /-on an old laptop with older covers,it is more feasible to use this same X amount on buying a new Laptop which will get me warranty+new specs+efficiency in my work.i.e I am wasting time+money on this laptop for the same amount I get brand new laptop+warranty and that too in just seconds.
