Help! Gaming LCD Panel XPS M1730
I have had to replace my hard drive, reloaded all of the driver software that came with the laptop and all is well, but the little lcd screen just shows XPS none of the programmable buttons have any effect. I am assuming that I am missing some software. Anybody know how I can get the LCD back to how it used to be?

It might be Dell Quickset. I would suggest you go HERE and look under the applications section. It will not hurt to install the Quickset software

:emotion-2: Found it! It's in the driver downloads "Logitech usb auxillary LCD display" It's not on the Dell Drivers disk, but hey that would be sensible and Dell has a problem with sensible :emotion-2:

It is not an easy one to find! After a long, circuitous chat session with a Dell tech, I was directed straight to it here:

Had that same problem after my seagate hd crashed. Go to dell support, enter in your service tag, go to drivers and its called Logitech USB auxillary, version 1.04.158 file name is R161825.exe click on it to download and just follow the instructions. Piece of cake... Here is the link: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/xps-m1730?driverId=TX4J9&osCode=ww1&fileId=2731100780&languageCode=en&categoryId=AP Hope it takes ya there. Good luck, Johnny
