Help with finding AC Power Adaptor for Inspiron 15-3531
Hey guys, I've been trying to help a friend out who recently had a fire in her condo, and one of the things that was destroyed was the ac power adapter for her laptop. I've been trying to help her find a replacement, but she wants to purchase a proper Dell charger because after her experience she's a little gun shy about any potential fire risks.
The problem I've been having is that her model (The Inspiron 15 3531) isn't listed on any of the lists for compatible chargers on the Dell website, and when we go through the battery/power adapter tool only one adapter comes up (this one here) <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> but it's not available to be shipped to Canada, and I cannot find it anywhere else. I was wondering if any of the other chargers are compatible, or if the 15 3531 is just a regional product number and there's model number I can use that is the exact same? I've honestly spent hours searching!

Sorry to hear about the fire accident.
Please find these two Dell part #'s which you can order online.

Please note all Dell chargers will have a Dell logo printed on the charger label and the part number as well. The part number will begin with series CN-0 (the rest alphanumeric code continues).
You can check in a local shop for these part #'s.
Also do PM us the system tag# by clicking on my name in blue and then select send a private message.

I unfortunately cannot find those part numbers anywhere online that can ship to Canada.
Is this charger the same one?
It's part #9RN2C, which an ebay seller stated was the same, but I don't know whether to believe them because there's so many counterfeits out there! I'm assuming since this one is sold by Amazon itself it would be authentic?
