How can I restore my old BIOS

I have a Dell D600 with BIOS A02. I wanted to upgrade it to BIOS A14 to better utilize the battery (I was informed by Dell that A14 will make the battery last longer). My question is if A14 contains too many bugs as some found out, how I can go back to A02 since I don't have a backup? Thanks in advance.

jwangbb,

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.

You can try to install an older version of your BIOS from the FTP site.

Indeed I have found older BIOS from the FTP cite, thanks. BTW the r14 doesn't (or hasn't) give me any problems so far.
