How do I stop my graphic driver from automatically updating
I have a Inspiron 7567. After updating my graphic driver to 22.20.16.4735 ,A04, I have a persistent problem of seeing this screen when I wake the screen up from sleep or when I open up the screen.
So I installed the older graphic driver, version 21.20.16.4727, A03, and the problem seems to go away. I also checked the Graphic Setting to make sure it is the current drive. However after an hour of use, my screen flickered, went black, and came back on with a blue tint. Then the same problem came back and I got the same screen again when I open the laptop or wake it up from sleep.
I check the Intel Graphic Setting and see the driver has changed from 21.20.16.4727, A03 to 22.20.16.4735 ,A04 by itself.
How do I change the driver back to 21.20.16.4727 and keep it there?

One more thing you can try would be updating your BIOS, since a bug there might be responsible for video not coming back when it resumes from sleep, and perhaps that's only triggered by some newer driver. It's admittedly a longer shot, but it's worth trying. And finally, there's one POSSIBLE way you may be able to block driver updates if you're on Windows 10 Home, although I haven't tested this. Win10 Home doesn't include Group Policy Editor, but it might still respect the registry setting created by that policy if you import it directly. If you want to test this, copy all of the text below this paragraph into Notepad, save it as DisableDriverUpdates.reg (not the normal .txt extension!), and then double-click it to import this setting into your registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
"ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate"=dword:00000001

I assume you're running Windows 10? If so, the updated driver is probably coming from Windows Update. And although you can block driver updates via Windows Update, it's only possible on Windows 10 Pro (similar to how you can only defer upgrades to new Win10 releases on Pro). If you're on Windows 10 Pro, open Group Policy Editor and go to Computer Configuration > Admin Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update, then set "Do not include drivers with Windows Updates" to Enabled.
If you don't have Windows 10 Pro, have you tried manually downloading the newest driver from support.dell.com to see if it will install properly (and without causing that error) if you do so manually?
