How to Disable a Key??

Question

Have an Insp8200 and I wish to disable the left side 'ctrl' key on the laptop keyboard.  is there a way to do this?  My problem is that as I type, my wrist or hand inevitably brushes this key, therefore sending me somewhere else in my document since ctrl + (pick a letter) engages another function.  I suppose I could hold my hand higher over the keyboard but I would prefer to simply disable this maddening function.  Help?

tfmf, Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum. There is no way to disable only one of the Control keys.  You may wish to attach an external keyboard to your system, as a work-around.
