How to know DVD Writer serial number
Could any body tell me how to get DVD Writer serails number which was initially installed in my laptop. I know it can can be get by service tag, but question is how...?

Depending upon your version of Windows, you can use Hwinfo32 or Hwinfo64 to find the model and serial numbers of your DVD drive. You can download them here: http://www.hwinfo.com/

Do you mean the serial number of the DVD writer stored on the DVD? If so, you can find them in the surface of the DVD discs you wrote.
