How to remove D Port Replicator from D/ View Stand? (not l/view)
I have the D Port / Dock Replicator for a Dell Latitude 8600 and it is connected to the D/veiw monitor stand. I am now trying to take the port replicator off of the stand. I cannot figure out how to release the D Port replicator from the L/View stand now. Is there some trick to releasing the port replicator from the stand? I have tried everything I can think of. It must be something simple I cannot fugure out. Thanks much
In front of the APR, on the top of the d/view stand, there is a little slot. To get the APR off of the stand, stick a key (or whatever else fits) into the slot, and push toward the APR.

thank you very much--that worked-why they don't doucment it on the site is beyond me.thanks again
I just received one of these into my Help Desk and had not seen one before. Now I can take off the Docking Station and confirm the serial number and who owns it. Note: Dell should put an arrow with a simple work like "release" or "undock/unlock". Just a thought.

Thanks Jim,
