I7-820QM Turbo Boost
Hello,
I'm trying to access the Turbo boost technology in my I7-820QM. I downloaded the driver for the Turbo and I'm getting an error saying my system doesn't meet requirements...?
The base clock of the 820QM is only 1.73GHZ, specs show it can go up to 3GHZ and that would be spectacular if I can get it to work.

The system should automatically switch speeds when needed - that monitor isn't required. Does the system correctly report the AC adapter in BIOS setup (F2 at powerup)? Or is the adapter listed as "unknown"?

The system does report the AC adapter correctly. If it automatically switches speeds, is there a way/program to monitor if it does switch?
