The system should automatically switch speeds when needed - that monitor isn't required. Does the system correctly report the AC adapter in BIOS setup (F2 at powerup)? Or is the adapter listed as "unknown"?

The system does report the AC adapter correctly. If it automatically switches speeds, is there a way/program to monitor if it does switch?
