Inspiron 11 cpu upgrades

Hey people of the internet i have a inspiron 11 3137 it comes stock with 2 gb of ram and 1.4 ghz cpu so yeah its obviously  I'm looking to upgrade the ram I've upgraded to a low voltage 8gb card but the cpu installation is way more complex yesterday and  i was taking apart a old desktop with a amd phantom 2 and I was wondering if its compatible and if its not if you have any suggestions for a cpu upgrade also is a solid state drive really worth it.

Hi,

Dell Inspiron 3137 ships with 1600 MHz DDR3L memory. The system has only one memory (RAM) slot, which is accessible by removing the bottom base cover. The system supports two memory configurations:

  • 2 GB
  • 4 GB

The"L" in DDR3L stands for low-voltage. The processor on Dell Inspiron 3137 is part of the system board there is no option to upgrade the system board or processor. The system is shipped with a 2.5 inch SATA 2 and SATA 3 hard-drive options you can upgrade to SSD which would make the system faster.

The CPU in the Inspiron 11 is soldered to the system board - it cannot be upgraded in any way.

Yes, the single best price/performance upgrade is to replace a conventional hard drive with a solid state drive.
