Dell does not have 64-bit drivers for this system -- you may be able to find them directly from AMD, or try the Latitude D531, which uses the same chipset and has 64-bit VIsta drivers that should work:
Thanks Natak! Those worked perfectly! (with the exception of the touchpad driver, but I'll figure something out)
My buddies girlfriend showed me the laptop last night and it was running vista & full of viruses, needless to say it is running great now with windows 7. Although I think it may need 4gb of ram instead of the current 2gb in order to keep it kicking for another year or two. Ddr2 ram is fairly expensive though considering how old the laptop is, I'm scared to put in the cheap stuff.

Some of the older versions of the touchpad driver may work better. Try this one:

Regarding the RAM its probably more worthwhile getting a SSD opposed to upgrading the RAM. The SSD will give the best overall performance boost.
