Inspiron 1525 TouchPad
I'm frustrated beyond belief! About 6 weeks ago, my hard drive decided to just stop working. I've had someone working on trying to get the data off, but that's an entirely different problem. My problem for today...I bought a new hard drive and have installed the OS (Vista), drivers, etc. However, my touchpad will NOT work. First, it was just the virtual scroll, but then it was the entire touchpad. I have downloaded the driver from the Dell site and it's still not working. I would LOVE some suggestions on what to try, other than to take the laptop apart and do this & that. It seems that it should just be a driver issue, but I just cannot solve it.
