Inspiron 1721 Webcam Software?
Is there suppose to be some webcam software/program included with the Inspiron 1721. I have yet to use my webcam and haven't found any software on my laptop to operate it. A few weeks after I had my laptop (September 2007) the entire system crashed and DELL had to replace both of my hard drives. I then reinstalled using the backup I had from DELL but cannot find any program to launch the webcam. Am I missing something? Please advise. Thanks.

Did you look on the start menu for for Dell Webcam Center? My Inspirion 1725 has it there.
PS After re-reading your post I see the drives were replaced so it may not be there.

ejn63 & biznaga... thanks for your assistance. I have downloaded and installed. First time I have been able to get the webcam to work! Now if I can only figure out how to get the mic to work with it. Thanks again!
