Inspiron N4030 & Windows XP
I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron N4030 preinstalled with Windows 7 Home Premnium SP1 (64 Bits)
But I would like to install Windows XP instead, but can't to find XP drivers, on Dell support pages! :emotion-18:
Can someone help please where to find 'em?
Thank you

If you want to run XP, upgrade to Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate and install Virtual PC (XP mode). Any other way will lead to a system that's only partially functional.

Thanks ejn63 for your help
But this means that I've to stick to Win7 :( which I'm trying to get rid of any way
I'm running a dual-boot system on this laptop (Win7 & Linux) and Linux is running just fine
What a shame, I really hate win7 and can't stand it
So how come there are no Win XP drivers?

Because WIndows XP is a 10-year old operating system whose time is running out (in less than two years, support for it will cease).
There may be Windows XP drivers for some of the hardware - finding them will mean visiting the websites of some of the component manufacturers (Intel, ATI, etc.). There may in fact be hardware that isn't supported by XP - so be prepared for partial functionality at best.
