Inspiron N5110 Hard Drive failure
I just tried to log on to my laptop and it started doing the windows automatic repair. It kept putting me through it over and over again and I got caught in an auto repair loop. i searched up online, and everyone said to press F12 on startup to run diagnostics. I ran diagnostics and everything passed except the hard drive.
** Hard Drive 0 -DST Short Test **
Test Results : Fail
Error Code 2000-0142
Validation 45182
msg: Hard Drive 0 - S/N S2W98XB6, self test unsuccessful. Status = 7
Not sure if all that info was needed but, can someone elaborate on what exactly the problem is, and how I can get it fixed?
Thanks in Advance.

The hard drive has failed. You will need a new 2.5" 7- or 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive. This model isn't exactly easy when it comes to a hard drive replacement -- the mainboard needs to come out of the system, which means a complete tear down.
