Hi jamestw35,

The windows mobility Centre is a hot key located on the right side of the computer just above the keyboard. Also refer the below picture where 1 denotes the mobility Centre.

If the key is either lose or is accidentally touched, this pop up may appear.

I request you to use the below link and update the following:

http://dell.to/UmY8yD  BIOS (Make sure that the computer is turned on and the AC Adaptor is plugged into the computer)

If you have any further questions, please reply to the same post.

thanks, but this didnt work i think that there is a problem with a wire touching on the inside as it only does it when the computer is moved. I have searched aound on the internet and other people have had this problem.  also there is a problem with the power lead because it says 'the AC power adaptor type cannot be determined' but if i move the wire around or reinsert it into the computer it works.

any more help would be useful

Thanks.

Hi jamestw35,

I suggest you to try with a known good AC Adaptor if you have one to see if the same issue happens.

Also send me the system service tag through a private message so that I can assist you further.

I have added you as a friend. Please accept my friend request by clicking on my name highlighted in blue and then click on “Friends” tab at the top and then click on “Request to Review” and finally click on “Accept” button.

I am sending you a private message as well. Click on “Inbox” to respond to the message and provide system’s Service Tag and contact details so I may access your system records and check for further course of action. You could also click on Start Conversation to send a private message.

James i am also having this problem  with windows  mobiliy center and typing xs also cursor can jump around while typing let me know if dell gave you a fix  yet. lots of people seem to have this problem. i think problem is with keyboard design noticed the  your cheap keyboard bounces up and down while you type this is a totally different design than most keyboards and just snaps in. one posted fixed by putting cotton ball in the keep wires from getting compressed.  basically we got the yugo body no matter what else is inside
