Installing a New Graphics Card
Hello,
i have a Dell Inspiron 1440 with a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family video card. I was looking to install a new video card and i understand that this one is an integrated video card and also know thatt there is a slot that i can put a new graphics card in, then set it up through the bios, which i also know how to do, i believe. i was wondering what graphics card would be best for this computer. i was looking for one that would be sufficient enough for me to play high graphics PC games. also i needed to know how i would install this new card. im not sure how i would install it, i have been searching the internet and nothing has quite answered my question. my RAM is fine i recently installed 2GBs more. thank you anyone who can help.

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. If the system was shipped with an integrated video card, then you will Not be able to upgrade the video card on this system. Replacing the video card will also need replacing the motherboard which is pretty expensive.
Thank you

No, you cannot. There is no board other than the one you have that will fit this system.
