Centrino is not a processor. It's an Intel mobile CPU with an Intel wireless card.

Since just about everything mainstream and Intel is now COre 2, the only real difference is the wireless card - pair a Core 2 with a Broadcomm, Marvell, Realtek or other wireless adapter and the Centrino name disappears.
