Issue with Dell Digital Delivery
Hello everybody I just got this laptop and there is a product called Dell Digital Delivery well when I start my computer this box opens up and says your software is downloading and installing. Then is the box it says Activate your ID protection now! In the status it says waiting..... This has been going on since I recieved the laptop a few days ago. It just seems like it's running but nothing changes. Help..........................

I have exactly the same problem. I've tried repairing Digital Delivery in uninstall programs and it's still there waiting to activate ID protection. Event log has repeated "windows service started" entries. Assistance with this appreciated.

Click the link below to download the Dell Digital Delivery Reset Tool. . Once you click on it you can "save as" to your desktop; click to run.

Jesse, Thank you. I ran the reset tool. Nothing happened. I started it and rebooted and still waiting. There is now a desktop file "Dell Digital Delivery Log" stating Client Fullfillment Service State Settings - size 5kb - ratio 0% - modified on 10/11/2011 and delldigitaldelivery.release.1.6.1001.0.msi_install_log - size 35kb - ration 88% modified on 10/4/2011
Any further assistance will be appreciated in getting this to finish downloading and stop the popups. Thanks - Craig

I tried the reset and it did not work. I tried to repair with no luck and then uninstalled the ID Protection and the Dell Digital Delivery and reinstalled the Dell Digital Delivery and I still have the problem. If the Digital Delivery is only for the "free" software I did not want anyway I am OK with uninstalling it. Is it needed for anything else? I should have bought an Apple!

Jesse I know you guys are busy but I bought this window 8 dell laptop a few month ago. But the dell digital pop up on the side of the screen is frozen so I cant shut down or restart my computer. And when I click the audio icon next to the connection it doesn't respond. I have audio on 100 percent but it doesn't make sound and you tube vids doesn't play. When I move my mouse to the side the search tab doesn't show up. When i moved my mouse in the top of the pop up it turns into a blue wheel spinning. Please help me. Everything else is fine. And I have recently downloaded steam and apb reloaded from steam. I cant uninstall because the search tab wont come up.
