Keyboard Fn key and Ctrl key mixed up?
Hi, I've just purchased a Dell Inspirion 15, all is good except the Ctrl key is "swapped" with the Fn key. For example pressing Fn + F7 doesn't mute, but pressing Ctrl + F7 does. Is that actually a hardware issue or there's a way to reset that ?
Thanks in advance!

Check Control Panel, Keyboard, Key Settings. Then check Regional & Language Settings, Keyboard Settings. Also see if you have an F Lock key and try using the Alt key with F 1-12 to see what it does. The Windows key with some of the F keys also should do something. Contact Support if you can't find a solution.

Thanks Mary, even though I couldn't find the option you mentioned. But you did mention the F key lock, so I googled around and found out that, at least for my case, I should reboot the PC but before Windows loads, press F2 then when the BIOS comes up, it's System Configuration > Function Key behaviour .
Again, thank you Mary.
