Laptop switches off when moved
I bought my dell laptop in 2015 september and today it suddenly switched off when moved and when i tried to restart then it took a while and then when i moved it again it switched off. I started it again and it went on well until i tried to move it again and switchedd off. How to resilve this problem as i have lots of work with ky laptop.

The issue could relate to a few factors.
1. A loose battery connection to the motherboard.
2. The battery housing gone loose. Or
3. Power adapter port fault.
To understand the source you will need to look through the following details,
1. Is there any damage on the machine or the adapter?
2. Are you using the original Dell adapter?
3. Please check the status of adapter in BIOS and verify it charges the battery. Check if wiggling the adapter cable changes the status in BIOS. Attempt this while ensuring adapter is not disconnected.
4. Please check on the battery health status in BIOS.
5. Please run the onboard diagnostics to understand if there is any failure. Press and hold Fn key and power up the machine.
Try reseating the connection of the battery and try a known working adapter. Please provide the exact system model or click on my User name and private message the service tag along with your contact details. I will be able to provide more related information based on the system model.
