Latitude 3340 No Power
I bought a Dell Latitude 3340 from the Dell Outlet store in September 2014. About 2 weeks ago, the mousepad stopped working and about a week ago, there is no power. The laptop is totally dead.
When I plug in the charger, the green light on the charger turns off. Also, when plugged in, the battery charging light does not come on. Nothing happens when I press the power button, no fans come on, none of the indicator lights come on. I am surprised that the machine died within 4 months of purchase.
Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance

If the LED on the adapter never comes on, the adapter is bad. If it comes on but goes off when you plug in the notebook end, the mainboard is bad - call Dell for warranty repair.
