Latitude D520 Bios with VT

I was very hopeful when I saw the new bios online (A05), but was very disappointed when VT still was unavailable. Should I just give up?

I have a T2300 CPU. Will VT extensions ever be available on the D520 for my CPU?

Thanks,
Barry

I think your CPU is T2300E.

So, if I swap processors, I can get VT with this laptop? Do other people have VT with the D520? Which processor should I upgrade to?

Thanks

EDIT:
I just downloaded the Intel CPU ID utility. There is no 'E' after my CPU identifier. It's a T2300 which, according to this link, DOES support VT:
http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL8VR

However, the CPU ID utility says:
Intel(R) Virtualization Technology No

Is the D520 chipset/BIOS blocking the VT feature? Will a CPU upgrade work, or will I be wasting money?

If a CPU upgrade will work, I see the D520 only supports Core Duo 32-bit CPUs. So I'll probably go with the T2500.

Just pulled the keyboard off and took a look at the CPU directly. It IS a T2300E. Don't know why the Intel CPU ID utility didn't show that...

So, I guess the only 2 questions that I have are:
1) Will a cpu upgrade be enough, or does the bios/chipset not support VT
2) Can a Core 2 Duo like the T7200 work in a D520, or do I need to stick with the 32-bit Core Duo series like the T2500? I'm running the 945GM chipset.

Thanks

1) Cpu upgrade is enough.

2) Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz (T7200) will work.
