Latitude D620 With Windows XP Professional x64, Network & Modem Driver Problems

Question

I am working on configuring a D620 with XP Professional x64. I have downloaded all the drivers from the support.dell.com. I have installed XP and I have started to install drivers. All drivers installed successfuly except the Broadcom 57XX integrated controller and the Conexant D110. Broadcom: One thing I noticed was that once this file is extracted to the Dell folder (R116105) there is only a setup.exe, Silent.txt, and a version.txt. Most drivers usually will have the .inf, .cat, .sys and a slew of other files in this folder. I am guessing that maybe this is incomplete. Any ideas? Conexant D110: No driver download is available. Does anyone else know of a driver that works? System Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo T7400, 2.16GHz 667Mhz 4M L2 Cache 14.1' WXGA+ LCD 1.0GB, DDR-533 SDRAM, 2-Dim (will change shortly) 256MB nVidia Quadro NVs 110M Turbocache 60GB 7200RPM 9.5MM Hard Drive 24X CDRW/DVD Intel 3945 WLAN (802.11A/G) Thanks, Clif

CoMpUtErGoD20XX    Did you install the chipset drivers first? Also you need to install the Dell notebook system software if you haven't done so.

Thanks Jimmy-P for the message.   Yes.  I installed the the following drivers (in order):   System software, chipset, video, audio, network (wired then wireless), modem (still not working)   Also, I got the wired network driver to work.  I used the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet driver from laptopvideo2go (available here:  http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t7090.html) using the amd64 drivers from within this package.  I could not get the driver available from Dell to work at all as there is no files that I can manually specify in this package.   Any ideas on what I can do for the modem driver?   Thanks, Clif

CoMpUtErGoD20XX    I don't see a driver for it on our site and I couldn't find one elsewhere on the net. We have one in the works but it has not been released yet. Since we didn't distribute these system with XP64 they are probably getting these out for Vista so it shouldn't be too long.

Clif  I don't know when the driver will be released, I'll see if I can find out. I doubt we will sell XP64 since Vista is coming out and it will have a 64 bit version but I'm not in marketing so I can't say for sure.
