Latitude D810 Windows XP - How can I tell the Drivers I need???/
I have recently had to reinstall the XP OS due to a virus. This seemed to work, but obviously wipped alot of the drivers.
I started downloading some from the Dell website, which appeared to be working - the wireless card for instance.
However, when I downloaded and installed a video driver that was under the Latitude D810 list on the Dell website - it apperaed to cause my screen to go black when ever in Windows XP.
I reinstalled (for a second time) the OS, and this seemed to work. But now I'm reluctant to download drivers in case I screw anything else up.
Is there anyway that I can tell which drivers are OK for my PC without trusting the Dell drivers web page?

The problem you had with the graphics drivers was undoubtedly just a one-off, and it has no bearing on the usability of all the other drivers :emotion-5:
