Latitude E-port replicator & USB 3.0

Hi

I'm new around here and hopefully this is the right place to ask this question.

Wondering if anyone out there can help me confirm what video ports are on the newest USB 3.0 capable E-Port Replicator and E-Port Replicator plus docks.   I'm looking to get a Latitude E6330, along with a monitor and docking solution at the same time.

The US dell web-site lists the following in the tech specs - they look pretty close to identical to me. Where is the $40 difference:

E-Port Replicator (Dell Part# 331-6307)
  • Display / video - DisplayPort
  • SuperSpeed USB 3.0
  • eSATA / Hi-Speed USB - 11 pin USB/eSATA
  • Network - RJ-45
  • Microphone - mini-phone 3.5 mm
  • Audio - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm

E-Port Plus Replicator (Dell Part# 331-6304)
  • Display / video - DisplayPort - 20 pin DisplayPort
  • SuperSpeed USB 3.0 - 9 pin USB Type A
  • eSATA / Hi-Speed USB - 11 pin USB/eSATA
  • Network - Ethernet - RJ-45
  • Audio - output
  • Microphone
The on-line chat rep told me the only difference was the audio port.  Dare I say I'm not convinced.
Looks to me like those are updated versions of these (where there clearly is a difference)

E-Port Replicator (Dell Part# : 430-3113)
  • 5 x Hi-Speed USB - 4 pin USB Type A
  • 1 x network - RJ-45
  • 1 x display / video - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)
  • 1 x display / video - 24 pin digital DVI
  • 1 x display / video - 20 pin DisplayPort
  • 1 x eSATA / Hi-Speed USB
  • Audio

E-Port Plus Replicator (Dell Part# : 430-3114)
  • 1 x serial - RS-232 - 9 pin D-Sub (DB-9)
  • 1 x parallel - 25 pin D-Sub (DB-25)
  • 2 x keyboard / mouse - generic - 6 pin mini-DIN (PS/2 style)
  • 5 x Hi-Speed USB - 4 PIN USB Type A
  • 1 x network - RJ-45
  • 1 x display / video - VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)
  • 2 x display / video - DVI-Digital - 24 pin digital DVI
  • 2 x display / video - 20 pin DisplayPort
  • 1 x eSATA / Hi-Speed USB
  • Audio
Anyone have the new USB 3.0 port replicator to confirm whether they still have VGA and DVI.
Thanks

So this is a bit late, but I had the same question and figured it out.  The  331-6304 (more expensive) replicator supports two digital displays simultaneously, where the 331-6307 supports only one digital at a time (though it probably supports multiple simultaneous monitors if one is on the analog VGA port).

Contrary to the Tech Specs for the SKU 331-6304, which specifically state "2x Display / video - Dual Link DVI-D", those outputs are NOT dual-link DVI.  Good luck finding anyone within Dell who actually understands that level of technical detail.  If you're needing those outputs to output the higher resolutions which require a Dual-Link DVI connection, you're out of luck.  There are numerous other Forum posts from disappointed customers who, like me, have been waiting through several generations of docking stations (aka "Port Replicators") for Dell to figure it out and do the right thing and support this feature - which, even now, they are falsely claiming that they do.  Basically, Dell will sell you a laptop with a powerful internal graphics chip; but, with no way to output the maximum resolution it is capable of.

I bought two monitors from dell and neither one hooks up to this docking station.  Does anyone have a part number of the Monitors I need or some sort of little adapter kit?

Now you tell  me :)  I was assured by Dell sales, tech support and online chat that th3 331-6304 would work with my Dell dual link DVI-D wfp-3007.  So I bought a Dell system, just to find out it does NOT have dual-link DVI-D even though the specifications say it DOES have it.  Even though sales and tech support prior to purchasing said it would work.  Nuts.  Anyway, i got it to work purchasing an active displayport to dual link DVI-D adapter $100...but it seems ridiculous I had to do that considering I have a Dell monitor and a Dell matchine and a Dell replicator.
