Latitude e6510 re install windows question

Hello,

a friend of mine bought a Dell Latitude E6510 online from somebody and you simply can't use it. Its full of errors from windows and no drivers are installed. It was also not genuine but the code under the battery worked, but didnt fix the errors.

System restore does not work

A format a new windows install & drivers will fix it probably. however the laptop came without a cd, and the warranty expired.

Is there a way to restore it to factory settings?
