Microphone doesn't work in windows xp
Hi everyone. i recently bought a dell studio 1535 and after 2 days i managed to install windows xp on it. But it appears that the audio driver I've install it's not the best because the microphone doesn't work. I've read on another forum that someone hat the same problem, but nobody gave him a solution. Please help me to find an working driver.

I doubt that there is one. IDT is still trying to get the bugs out of its Vista driver for the Studio models. It just released its 3rd version already. But Dell doesn't have any for XP. Another poster tried using a Gateway XP driver and says his audio quality is awful. What driver did you use?
