I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall AMD Radeon HD 6470m graphics card driver.

Please follow the below steps to uninstall the video drivers:

1. Click “Start”.
2. Click “Control Panel” and select “Device Manager”.
3. On the “Device Manager” window, expand “Display adapters”.
4. Display adapters will be listed as shown in the image below:
5. Right click “AMD Radeon HD 6470m” and click “Uninstall”.

1. Ensure to check the box “Delete driver software for this device”.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the drivers.
3. Restart the computer.

Run the driver file for AMD Graphics, follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver and restart the computer when prompted.

that didn't do anything, now both drivers are gone, with yellow triangle exclamation points. my screen resolution changed to  1024x768 from 1366x768. was not prompted to restart.

8. Ensure to check the box “Delete driver software for this device”.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the drivers.
10. Restart the computer.

After the system restarts please run Windows updates.

3. Type “Windows Updates” in the search box and select it.
4. Run the Windows Updates.

when i uninstalled the amd radeon hd 6470m driver, the option to "delete driver software for this device" did not show. the windows update was successful. but when i installed the amd radeon hd 6470m driver from the link you provided, i installed it through the custom option, but everything checked in the box seemed to already be installed. i checked the device manager, intel hd graphics 3000 was under display adapter but amd radeon hd 6470m was no where to be found.

In this case we can try updating the BIOS to the latest version. Please refer the following link to update the BIOS: http://dell.to/QjjZDA
Enter the system service tag, choose the Operating system and download the latest BIOS.

Note: Few things to ensure before updating the Bios, the Ac Adapter should be plugged in and the battery should have minimum of 10% charge. No other peripherals should be connected to the computer. Please ensure that the Bios update should not be interrupted.

Check if AMD graphics card is detected after the BIOS is updated.

Please post the results.

still no change, amd radeon 6470m still has the yellow triangle with exclamation mark on it
