Mouse pointer flickers when laptop is on power supply

Hi,

I have dell inspiron 15 (3521) laptop, and i am using windows 7 64bit. I am facing a problem for many days. When my laptop is on power supply, the touch pad pointer flickers or do not follow the exact path of movement. Can somebody help resolve this issue.
