I would suggest you to unplug adapter and battery. Press and hold power button for 15 seconds. Plugin adapter and turn on System. If system does not turn on try a good known adapter.
If the system still does not turn on, unplug CRU ( Customer Replaceable Components) one by one.
Reseat memory
If system does not turn on unplug optical drive.
System not turning on can be an issue with System Board.

The 8 beep error code was already fixed, just a previous problem, what im having trouble with is a solid red battery light on the front of my laptop. I did try the steps you recommended however, nothing changed at all.
Still, I would suggest you to try a good known adapter to isolate the issue.

I do noy have any other adapters, however i have been talking to friend whose knowledgable about computers. came to the conclusion that its a faulty motherboard issue ot i need a new cpu.
As rightly suggester, it can be an issue with system board.
If system is in warranty, send me service tag and name listed on account in a private message.

Actually something did change, the battery now charges and boots for about 20 seconds then shuts off again.

i'm not sure what you mean by a good adapter.I have only one AC adapter if thats what you mean.
