Need Advance Skill Help Vostro 1310 Bootup Problem
Hi all, i am using dell vostro 1310 laptop, bios version A13. windows vista home
i am find out that my bios menu did not have advance option for menu booting chosen. now my windows vista always keep stuck in screen and message me "operation system found."
even i had install to windows xp pro. but after finish copy all windows system file to restart. it appear with same message again. T_T
then i am try to reinstall my windows and at the menu hard disk list had show me message
"This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enable in the computer's bios menu."
Great Load For this laptop... i am blind to find out where to enable back the controller?
Now i am download and use the Dell Website provide the sata driver controller...and using the right controller device driver. but it not go further to install system file and stuck at hard disk format screen. and prompt this message:-
"windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"
How could i done this job with accomplish

Hi all~ well...today is my last comment on here. i am very honest thank you all of your give me a guidance to complete my dell laptop reinstall the windows.
and now my laptop can work again after i had find out in dell global several website which publish at all country in this earth.
now i got complete my task just put the bios master and user password to unfreeze the harddisk drive password protection.
so after that i can do my installation at last.
so i hope this post can give for others fresh guy to refer for future.

Reseat (remove and reinstall) the hard drive.
Then run an extended diagnostic on it (F12 at powerup).

Custom test - then run the extended hard drive test.

express test? extended test? custom test? symptom tree

All Test had Successfully, no error came out... so tire to wait it....-.-
I will try others tomorrow

oh no~~still cannot boot in the windows system, message said that same as above " operating system not found"
it's consider bios problem???

update ~ hi every master. i am surrender that my pc skill knowledge now. had any one been b4 same case with me?
i am suspect the bios problem.
in my bios i did set the sata driver with ATA mode.network controller and wireless controller is disable.. but my dell laptop still prompt out the same message with operating system not found / in format driver pre install screen said this computer hardware may not support booting to this disk? how to set in can boot in this disk???
and i had ran out and finish checking the diagnostic disk utility. but did not successfully at last
