Hi Ahsuw,
Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.
Please update the BIOS using this link http://dell.to/1DYKTJ5, install the Chipset driver http://dell.to/1Cziwl0 and then install the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver http://dell.to/1IBrmDI.
Please reply if you have any further questions.

Could you please provide the screen shot of the device manager, also let us know the USB device your trying to connect to the system.

Hi,
I've done all of the above but it's still not detecting the controller and is giving me the same PNP not found message as it did above.
Also, it says this;
I've installed all the drivers on the Dell update page as well as Windows Update.

I'm trying to connect a PS4 controller with a USB, it worked fine on my desktop PC previously.
Could you please confirm if other USB devices work on this system. Are you using a PS4’S DUALSHOCK 4 controller?
Also to add on, I'm actually using a new hard drive that I've installed Windows 7 on (The one that came with the computer died and was using Windows 8). Not sure if this info helps, but added it just in case.

Yep, the mouse I'm using works fine on all the USB ports on the laptop. And yes, it's a DUALSHOCK 4 controller.
