New Keyboard for Inspiron 6400

Question

I had a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop that is past its warrenty date. About a year ago, I spilt some pop on my keyboard and 1 key (the 5%) stopped working. That was fine, I dealt with it, but then a few monthes ago keys started dying off, to the point that I had to pop the covers off and press down as firmly as I could. Anyways, long story short I have assessed that the keyboard needs to be replaced, so I ordered a new one.   Now my question is how difficult is it to replace the laptop keyboard? I have barely any experience working on the inside of a desktop tower, and the idea of opening up my laptop scares me quite a bit. Am I just worrying too much? Can I potentially ruin my laptop by trying to install the keyboard? Am I better off taking it to a repair place and asking them to do it?
