Ebay is an auction site-- not Dell. Dell does not sell computers on Ebay. Those are secondary sellers. Was the computer supposed to be new or used? It is hard to tell from the listing.  The Service Tag will not have serial numbers listed, just part numbers. Contact the seller and find out who is responsible for the 1 yr warranty.

It is a new unused item. Yes, the service tag lists the part numbers and the part number does not match. The 2nd part of the serial numbers gives the part number ,right ?

The seller said 1 year manufacturer warranty and the service tag lookup also shows warranty till 2014.

Is the parts original ??

Also the service tag look up on the dell-site lists my laptop as touchscreen enabled even though i am not able to use it so far.

What should i do ?? For 30 days post buying eBay buyer protection is still available or should i contact dell instead ?? Or any other ???

You first need to contact the seller and have them transfer the warranty into your name - until then you have no warranty.
