On Reader 2.1 Not Working after Windows 7 SP1 Update
Hi Everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. I have a Dell Latitude E4310. I had Dell ON Reader 2.1 working properly before. However, immediately after updating Windows 7 to Service Pack 1, I would get "QuickInfo Agent Mail Convert Application has stopped working" message when exporting Outlook e-mail messages to the Reader. This only happens when I tried to export e-mail messages to Reader [if I only have contacts, calender and tasks selected, then no issue on export].
Looking at the details of the error message, there is an "appcrash" for "html2jpg.exe".
Are there anybody out there experiencing similar problems? Has anyone gotten a work around on this issue?
Any help or comment is greatly appreciated!

actually same problem here on latitude 6510. however the problem started after upgrading to IE9. W7 ultimate sp1 update took place few weeks ago and Dell On reader functioned fine. errors are:

Only way to kill the messages is to quit outlook and disable ON. That is not a solution so I hope Dell can make a patch quickly.

Hi Everyone,
For now, my work around is to unistall IE9, and this problem goes away. That is if you can live without IE9 and use the legacy IE8.

you managed to uninstal IE9 from W7 64 with no ill effects?

yes, confirmed. It's been running fine for the last 2 weeks now.
My operation system is Windows 7, 32 bit. I can't say for sure that it'll work for 64 bit as well, but I can't see why not.

Exactly the same issue here. When will DELL deliver a patch?

no idea. In the meantime I managed to uninstall control point (login was taking too long with fingerprint reader) and install Dell data protection Access - which does not work. I have ultrafast logins but no finger print reader. Dell solution: reinstall W7.
really. always have half-baked drivers and software.

Similar problem today on E6410. Have you tried "Repair software" option in Start menu for ON Reader? It maay well just be opening the same options as you would get for Change program in Control Panel. I think it has sorted it for me.
